thésée datacenter
Founded in 2019 and based in the west of Paris, Thésée Datacenter is a French player specializing in premium server hosting. Its mission is to offer hosting services that meet the most demanding international standards in terms of security, resilience and that guarantee immunity from extraterritorial legislation.
This added value is reflected in a global approach to infrastructure protection, designed from the outset to guarantee operational excellence on a daily basis. Thésée Datacenter thus deploys 360° protection of its hosting, based on four complementary pillars: infrastructure resilience, long-term sovereignty guarantee for customer data, cybersecurity and physical site protection.
The company is currently developing a 50 MW campus in Aubergenville (Yvelines), eventually consisting of 7 buildings, intended to accommodate critical infrastructure for companies and public actors. This campus is one of the most ambitious data center projects in the Île-de-France region and is part of a digital infrastructure logic governed exclusively by French and European law.
Resilience is a major differentiator of Thésée Datacenter. Unique in France, the Company is one of the two data center operators with a Tier IV certified site in Paris, the highest level of certification available internationally, guaranteeing maximum continuity of service and an unparalleled level of civil security.
Thésée Datacenter has made digital sovereignty a pillar of its commitments to its clients. With the Gaia-X Level 3 label, the highest tier in the Gaia-X framework designed to mark fully Sovereign European Digital Services. This label is achieved only through meeting the strictest requirements for data protection, security and legal control. The Company is able to guarantee to its customers immunity from extraterritorial laws and any form of external interference. The data is hosted in infrastructures governed exclusively by French law.
Cyber protection is integrated into the core of technical architectures and operational processes to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of hosted data.
Finally, the physical protection of the sites relies on enhanced security measures, including badge readers, security vestibules (mantraps), biometric authentication for sensitive areas, comprehensive video surveillance across the entire site, and a security team on duty 24/7.
Access to IT environments is governed by seven successive layers of security controls between the site perimeter and the core of the data center rooms.
The infrastructures comply with the most demanding standards on the market, including ISO 27 001 and HDS, with audit reports shared with customers.
In addition, Thésée confirms its long-term commitment with the development of a campus with a total target capacity of 50 MW, spread over seven buildings. The expansion provides for the gradual construction of several independent modules of 5 to 10 MW each, to support the gradual increase in our customers’ needs over the coming decade, and providing a deeply needed trusted long-term partner for French enterprises in their data management and storage activities
Thésée Datacenter focuses on operational excellence in order to gain and maintain the trust of major French groups with an international reach, such as Outscale or France Télévisions, seduced by Thésée’s unique level of physical protection, legal sovereignty regime, and long-term strategic thinking.
The Aubergenville campus is designed to meet the highest standards of energy performance, with a PUE objective of less than 1.2. It integrates advanced cooling technologies, combining air solutions and Direct Liquid Cooling, compatible with the recovery of waste heat, placing Thésée Datacenter in an ambitious environmental trajectory.
