Aubergenville data center: the Tier IV certified TDC01 campus
Aubergenville data center: Thésée Datacenter's TDC01 campus is located at 32 rue du Clos Reine, in the Yvelines. The Uptime Institute has awarded it Tier IV Constructed Facility certification. Thésée Datacenter is therefore one of the few Tier IV certified operators in France. It is the first of the two Thésée Datacenter campuses in the Paris region.

Which Tier IV certifications cover the Aubergenville campus?
The Uptime Institute has issued two separate certification letters for the TDC01 campus. Each one covers a specific stage of the project.
The first letter confirms that the constructed facility can withstand a single failure. The rooms keep their power supply and their cooling. The second approves the design of the first two phases. They bring the IT load up to around 3 MW. Download the Constructed Facility letter and the Design Documents letter.
The architecture uses a 2N electrical supply and two power paths serving the site. No single point of failure is part of this design. “Continuous Power” generator sets and redundant “Continuous Cooling” take over automatically. The official list of sites appears on the Uptime Institute Tier registry for France. Our Tier IV certified data center page details each level.

How has the Aubergenville campus grown since 2019?
- 2019
Groundbreaking of the TDC01 A building, with the support of the Caisse des Dépôts and the IDEC Group.
- 2021
Commissioning of TDC01 A: 3 MW IT and 1,000 m² of IT rooms. Tier IV Constructed Facility certified by the Uptime Institute.
- September 1, 2025
Building permit obtained for the TDC01 B building in Aubergenville.
- December 2026
Acquisition of Thésée by Vesper Infrastructure, backed by a 500 million euro investment plan.
- Q4-2027
Delivery of the first phase of TDC01 B, a high-density building with a target total capacity of 9.2 MW IT.
In November 2025, Thésée Datacenter is launching the first stage of a 50 MW campus. The programme moves forward through independent modules of 5 MW to 10 MW. Their construction follows the pace of demand. According to DCmag, the overall investment exceeds 500 million euros.
What capacity is available for your racks, from building A to building B?
- Building A: in service since 2021, it now offers 1,000 m² and 3 MW.
- Cooling in building A: indirect free cooling and adiabatic evaporation reduce the use of chillers during hot periods.
- Building B: under construction, this building will add 10 MW across 1,100 m², with a density of 10 kW/m².
- Cooling in building B: the hybrid architecture splits roughly 25% air and 75% liquid cooling. It combines rear-door coolers, InRow systems and direct liquid cooling (DLC).
This density meets the needs of high performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence workloads. Our HPC and AI offering presents them. Building A reports a design power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.2. Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) page explains it in detail. Ultimately, the campus is set to comprise seven buildings, with more than 50 MW and 7,000 m² of IT space.
Dedicated Cooling
Hot or cold aisle containment and cooling solutions adapted to the density of your equipment: air cooling, InRow units, cold doors, or direct liquid cooling (DLC).
Multi-carrier and Cloud Connectivity (Carrier Neutral)
Access more than 10 carriers through our Meet-Me Rooms, including Orange, SFR, Colt and IELO. Through Megaport, benefit from private interconnections to the main cloud providers and access to more than 400 destinations.

How does your equipment stay connected and monitored?
The Aubergenville data center remains carrier neutral. You choose your connections from Orange, SFR, Colt, ielo, GTT, Zayo, Megaport and Cogent. A private network of 144 dark fibres connects the campus to the Voisins-le-Bretonneux site (TDC02), located 30 km away.
With the Thésiris customer portal, you manage your spaces remotely. It shows temperature, humidity and load in real time. It also brings together access requests, tickets and the 3D digital twin of the rooms.
What protections govern access to the site?
Access to the campus requires an appointment and a prior identity check. Seven levels of security separate the site entrance from the data halls. The site combines biometric access control, video surveillance and very early fire detection. Our health data hosting certification (HDS V2.0) also covers the campus.

Are you planning an installation at our Aubergenville data center?
We can give you an on-site tour of the campus. We can also provide you with the Uptime Institute certification letters.
